After first appearing in 2003, the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 is back better than ever, as the Steven Smith-designed silhouette arrives in a fresh "Varsity Royal" colorway. Originally only intended as a running shoe for the Japanese market, the lightweight sneaker is semi-inspired by the Zoom Citizen and was reworked by Smith for a wider audience after the Japanese crowd and Nike internally loved it. Highlighted by the “cage” around the Zoom cushioning, nodding to the midsole of the retro sneaker, this metallic shimmering trainer will be on heavy rotation this summer.
