The Gel-Kayano 20 shows ASICS at a point where the silhouette became more complex, letting layers and tooling define the shoe’s identity. The mesh upper is dense and tightly patterned, framed by angular overlays that give the model its distinct, almost architectural look. Lighter materials dominate the upper, while darker mesh sections and cool blue accents cut through the side panels and heel, with matching details carried into the midsole. It’s a shoe we include for its weight, shape, and visual honesty rather than refinement.
